FRUITLAND — A number of students from the Western Treasure Valley earned degrees in their respective fields of study from the University of Idaho this spring. A list follows of students from throughout the Western Treasure Valley who earned degrees, and another list follows of those who earned a spot on the dean’s list.

The following students from Fruitland earned degrees: Allison K. Simmons earned a bachelor’s in science in biology; Austin A. Pimentel earned a bachelor’s in agriculture systems management; Cheyanne A. Myers earned a bachelor’s in agricultural and life sciences; Elena M. Tipton earned a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering; Hunter J. Cornia earned a bachelor’s in music education; James W. Howard earned a bachelor’s in business economics; Joel Medrano earned a bachelor’s in fishery resources; Kaitlyn R. Campbell earned a bachelor’s in psychology; and Olivia K. Heersink earned a bachelor’s in journalism.

Courtney R. Butler, of New Plymouth earned a bachelor’s in agriculture economics.

Following are students from Payette who earned their bachelor degrees: Amber L. Helmer earned a bachelor’s in psychology; Brooks L. Boyer earned a bachelor’s in interior design; Courteney Coleman earned a bachelor’s in public relations; Dustin Rose earned a bachelor’s in wildlife resources; Maison C. Abraham earned a bachelor’s in animal and veterinarian science; Noah Jones earned a bachelor’s in mathematics; and Tatiana A. Arvizu earned a bachelor’s in family development and aging and consumer and communication development.

Students from Weiser who earned a degree include Christopher M. Beltran who earned a bachelor’s in advertising; Dana M. Kerner earned earned a bachelor’s in animal and veterinarian science; David L. Freeman earned a bachelor’s in psychology; Kayleen M. Barney earned a bachelor’s in business economics; Lukas B. Hiner earned a juris doctorate in law; Marlen Lopez earned a bachelor’s in sociology; Matthew D. Hurd earned a bachelor’s in exercise science and health; Matthew K. Davies earned a bachelor’s in agricultural systems management; Vanessa Negrete earned a bachelor’s in Spanish and broadcasting and digital media; and William P. Overgaard earned a masters in educational leadership.
