Missoula Children’s Theatre

David Beran, actor/director for the Missoula Children’s Theatre, directs nearly 60 youth ages 5 to 18 through a song that was performed during “Blackbeard the Pirate” in July of 2018. The theater troupe will be back in town next week to get children ready for this year’s play, which is “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

ONTARIO – The Missoula Children’s Theatre troupe is once again heading into Ontario to offer a weeklong camp for local youth topped off with two public performances. The eighth annual Summer Theatre Camp starts Monday and runs through July 13, leading up to two performances of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

The camp and production will be held in the theater at Four Rivers Cultural Center.

The play is an original variation of the timeless fairy tale. This reworking tells the story of a princess named Snow White and her daring escape from the Evil Queen. Aided in her efforts by two wicked henchmen and a group of evil bats, the Queen attempts to poison the young princess and become the fairest in the land.

This contemporary tale also features a full cast of allies to assist Snow White, these include her faithful forest friends, the seven dwarfs, King Backwards and the prince.

This event is a chance for local kids to gain valuable traits related to performance arts while participating in activities to build their creative thinking, communication and team-building skills according to a statement released by Four Rivers Cultural Center.

To find out about how local children can participate in the theater camp, which has limited spots available, contact the Cultural Center at www.4rcc.com or call (541) 889-8191.

Registration forms can be downloaded from the Four Rivers Cultural Center’s website.
