WILLOWCREEK – Willowcreek Community Church and Sunday School will celebrate its heritage more than 80 years of serving the Willowcreek area on June 22.
The church will provide an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 22. Festivities will include a classic car show, Wilcox Buggy rides and free hot dog lunch.
There will also be historic paintings that date to 1935-36 on display. The church was originally a Civilian Conservation Corps building and during a remodel of the Sanctuary, pictures painted by Frederick H. Kluemper, a resident of the camp, were discovered.
Attendees can visit with old friends and are urged to make new ones.
