TVCC gets ready to put new course to use

A disc golf course will soon be available on the campus of Treasure Valley Community College for students and the community, and is expected to be ready for play in mid-July. The course is being laid out on the west side of the campus between Southwest 5th Street and Southwest 11 Street, going past the Weese Building and circle behind the Residence Hall. The bases for all the golf baskets have been installed in the next week or two. The course will have 13 holes.

This is amazing. I live in Weiser and am an advide Disc Golfer. I came here from Idaho Falls where there was 4 in the city. To have one so close now is going to be great for the city due to being able to keep local players as well as new and upcoming players here. It's a huge upcoming sport that's showing its face more and more in the sporting community. I would love to be more involved with this and the future of the sport here in Ontario.

This piece is a huge missed opportunity. This is a cool piece of community development, and I would love to hear the story behind it! What is disc golf about? Who's idea was it to bring it to Ontario? Who designed the course? Who funded it? Why do they believe it is a positive change to the city?

And please, please, proofread. This piece is four sentences and still got published with errors.
