ONTARIO — The Ontario High School wrestling team will be hosting a free intro to wrestling practice on Friday night, coinciding with the start of both the Animals Wrestling and the Cobras Wrestling clubs in Ontario.

On Friday at 6 p.m., the Tigers will be hosting Payette for a dual meet with both the boys and the girls teams scheduled to participate in the action. After the dual meet, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Tigers will be hosting the practice.

The practice was coordinated for those who are still on the fence about joining wrestling. Ontario wrestling coach Ruben Hernandez said the practice should run for 45 minutes to an hour.

Signups for Animals Wrestling and Cobras Wrestling, as well as many other youth clubs spots in Ontario, can be found online at ontariorecdistrict.com.
