Nyssa 58, Riverside 45

While the Vikings outscored the Bulldogs 19-9 in the fourth quarter, Nyssa held a strong lead after scoring 22 points in the third quarter.

Agustin Trujillo led the Bulldogs with 16 points. Omar Jaquez scored 14 points and Pedro Chavez scored 11 points.

The Bulldogs (16-8, 9-1 EOL) will host Umatilla on Friday in the EOL championship game.

New Plymouth 58, Vision Charter 17

Derek Hampton led the Pilgrims with 23 points. Thatcher McLinn scored 11 points. Jimmy Riggs had 10 rebounds, scored seven points and had five blocks.

The Pilgrims (10-12) have qualified for the WIC District Tournament and will play at Marsing on Wednesday in the first round.

Girls basketball

Nyssa 31, Riverside 23

With the Bulldogs holding just an 18-12 lead going into the fourth quarter, Riverside took a 19-18 lead early in the fourth quarter.

Nyssa closed the game on a 13-4 run to take the win.

Samantha Moore led the Bulldogs with 10 points.

The Bulldogs (12-11, 6-4 EOL) will play at Vale on Wednesday in the EOL District Tournament semifinal game. The winner of that game will play at Burns on Friday.
