PAYETTE — On Oct. 7, the Homedale Trojans traveled to the Payette High School dome in order to compete against the Pirates in a Snake River Valley Conference match, in addition to acknowledging the senior athletes for their time, commitment, and dedication to the volleyball program over their athletic careers. The Pirates happened to lose the match, 3-0.

Pirates seniors, including middle hitter Sydney Denison, defensive specialist Makenna Derryberry, right side hitter Trinity McGinnis, and middle hitter Bentley Burns, were acknowledged during the senior presentation, prior to the match, where they were presented with various gifts and mementos from their friends, family, and supporters.

The Pirates next challenge will be against the Parma Panthers on Thursday at 6:30 p.m., when Payette travels to Parma High School for the Pirates final match of the season, prior to the district tournament.
