ONTARIO — The Ontario softball team make quick work of Baker in their regular season finale, with two five-inning squashes over visiting Baker.

The Tigers won game one 17-2 and took game two 11-1.

Ontario will host a state play-in game later in the week, which has yet to be scheduled.

Ontario ace Lexi Navarrete pitched all 10 innings Monday afternoon. In the first game, she allowed one hit, no walks and struck out 11. In game two, she allowed five hits, no walks and struck out eight.

The senior also had a big day at the plate. In game one, Navarrete had two hits, two RBIs and scored two runs. In game two, she had one hit and scored two runs.

In game one, Emilee Calderon had three hits, three RBIs and scored two runs to lead the Tigers.

Amy Hernandez had a big outing in game one, with two hits, a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored.

Kialee Shaw made her final regular season home game with Ontario count, with one hit and three runs scored in the first game before two hits, three RBIs and one run in the second.

Sam Ray had two hits, two RBIs and scored two runs in game two.
