ONTARIO — The Treasure Valley Community College baseball team will be hosting its annual alumni weekend starting on Friday.

The weekend of events will kick off on Friday at 7 p.m. with alumni batting practice. On Saturday at noon will be the annual alumni game. Both events will take at Elks Memorial Field in Ontario.

Alumni weekend will culminate in the Oscar Lopez Memorial Golf Tournament at 9 a.m. at Scotch Pines Golf Course.

The golf tournament will be a four-person handicap scramble format and there are multiple prizes to give out.

The alumni weekend will also be a good opportunity for Chukar fans to come out and meet TVCC interim coach Brady Baker, who just took over the position this week. Steve Luby, who had been the head coach for two years, left to take an assistant position at College of Idaho.

For a registration form, for the golf tournament, contact Baker at bdbaker@tvcc.cc or TVCC athletics secretary Rachel Grace at rgrace@tvcc.cc or (541)881-5890.
