Theodore Trevor Frahm
Dec. 1, 1976 - Oct. 8, 2019
Theodore Trevor Frahm, Age 42, of Ontario, Oregon, was killed in a tragic accident on October 8th, 2019 on the farm that he loved.
Trevor was born in Caldwell, Idaho on December 1st, 1976 to Theodore Rodrick Frahm and Launa Gay Schulties Frahm. The oldest of five children, he was raised on a three-generation farm south of Ontario, Oregon. Trevor graduated from Ontario High School in 1995 and shortly after served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mendoza, Argentina. He taught and loved the people of Argentina, serving with honor in the Spanish language. After his mission, Trevor graduated from Ricks College with an Associates degree in Agricultural Business and then from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Marketing.
In 2002, he met his future wife Krista Hytrek. They were Married November 7th, 2003 in the Boise, Idaho temple. They were blessed with four beautiful children Theodore Tevan Frahm, in 2005, followed by Nicole (2008), Leo Tanner (2010) and Erik Mel (2014). His family brought light and joy into his life.
Trevor fulfilled his dream of working alongside his father and brothers on Frahm Family Farms. In 2003, he began an onion packaging business, Frahm Fresh Produce. In 2017, he along with his family, purchased the A&W restaurant in Nyssa, Oregon
Trevor enjoyed the outdoors, being with family and friends, and farming. He had a quick wit and an infectious smile. He loved skiing with his kids in the winter and taking his boat to Owhyee in the summer, making sure everyone had a great time. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served his fellow man as a High Councilman to the local Spanish Branch, and most recently, Bishop of the Ontario Oregon 2nd Ward. Trevor was the first to lend a helping hand; whether it be a Priesthood blessing, help with a project, or plowing out his entire neighborhood during a snowstorm. He was the rock of his immediate, work and church families. Losing Trevor was devastating, but all who love him are comforted by the fact that families are forever, something that Trevor believed with his whole heart. Those who mourn him have been comforted by the family, friends, and farming community who have poured out their hearts in love and service in honor of this great man. He will be missed but his influence will endure, especially in the lives of his four children who adore their Dad.
Trevor was preceded in death by his grandparents (Theodore and Bonnie Frahm, Ray and Evelyn Bair Schulties). He is survived by his wife Krista, children Tevan, Nicole, Tanner and Erik, his parents Rod and Launa Frahm, siblings Andrea Pace (Eli), Spencer (Genniel), Toni, and Ken (Sharon), his grandmother Joan Fuhrman Schulties, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Ontario LDS Stake Center at 1705 NW 4th Avenue, Ontario, Oregon, October 14th 2019 at 11:00 am with a family visitation at the same location at 9:30 am that morning.
