George Thomas Skinner ‘Tom’

Tom Skinner of Payette Idaho passed away Wednesday May 15, 2019, quietly at home. Tom was born January 30, 1969, in Baker Oregon to Wilbur C and Maria Skinner; he was the youngest of 7 siblings. He graduated from Ontario High School in 1987, where he still holds the record for the Presidential Endurance Run.

In 1994 Tom married Marcy Barnett they had 4 children Brianna, Hailey, Forrest and Elijah. Tom owned and operated Skinners Auto Body Shop in Payette Idaho until it was destroyed by fire and later he re-opened the shop in Fruitland. Prior to his death he was working in North Dakota in the oil fields.

Tom was very proud of his children and loved spending time with them camping, fishing and attending church whenever he could. Tom was a very proud Papa 2 granddaughters Emery and Evelyn they were his world. When Tom became sick to his joy he reconciled with his oldest son Zack and his 3 children Colt, Cash and Arly. Tom’s heart was overflowing to have all his children and grandchildren at his side.

Tom is survived by his: Son Zack (Courtney) Grogan children Colt, Cash, Arly; Daughter Hailey (Jake) Brotcke children Emery, Evelyn; Son Forrest (Olivia Fiancée); Son Elijah (Mary Fiancée); Sister Clara (Dale) Watson; Brother Darwin Skinner; Numerous nephews and nieces.

Tom is preceded in death by his dad Wilbur C Skinner, daughter Briana Joy, step dad Candelario Miranda and his mother Maria Skinner Miranda.

Celebration of life will be held at River of Life Christian Center, 800 17th Ave N Payette Idaho at 7pm on June 10th, 2019.
