BOISE — Two Ontario men are facing multiple felony counts related to a burglary spree on Wednesday morning.

Francisco Daniel Castro, 20, of Ontario, is facing five felony counts of burglary and two counts of felony grand theft. Enrique Eleazar Torres-Ortega, 21, of Ontario, is facing five counts of felony burglary.

Castro and Torres-Ortega have an arraignment scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ada County Courthouse.

According to a press release from Boise Police, officers responded to a report of vehicle burglary near the intersection of 19th Street and Ada Street. The caller stated that two men were entered and gone through a vehicle, and it appeared that they had burglarized other vehicles on the street as well.

Upon reaching the area, the release states that officers made contact with Castro and Torres-Ortega at the corner of 19th Street and Eastman Street. They were in possession of items that were later identified to be stolen from multiple vehicles in the area. Castro and Torres-Ortega were taken to Ada County Jail.

Investigators believe it’s possible that more vehicle burglary victims may be outstanding.
