1 Less than 24 hours remain until the Missoula Children’s Theater will be in Ontario for the seventh annual Summer Theater Camp. This visit will culminate in two performances of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” at 3 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Meyer-McLean Performing Arts Theater at Four Rivers Cultural Center.

2 Life just got a little less lonely today for Ryugu, an asteroid that Japan’s Hayabusa-2 probe just landed on Thursday, and is currently collecting surface samples. According to ScienceAlert.com, the asteroid is a primitive asteroid which is half-a-mile in diameter, that orbits the sun at a distance up to 131 million miles. The probe initially landed there in February to collect shallow samples from just below the surface.

3 On this day in 1995, “I’ll Be There For You,” by The Rembrandts, was the No. 1 song on Billboard’s mainstream top 40, according to billboard.com. This song is remembered by most as the theme song to the hit sitcom, “Friends.”
