Police chief recommends yoga studio for liquor license

ONTARIO — What is the latest business in Ontario to apply for a liquor license?

According to the Nov. 19 City Council meeting, a yoga studio is.

Ontario Police Chief Steven Romero addressed the council as it pertained to the application for a liquor license for Balance Studio.

At the onset of the discussion, Romero stated that following a background check, the business is a good candidate to be granted the license.

He went on to state that previously the owner would apply for temporary liquor licenses in order to hold special events. One of these events is called “Wine and Yoga” and Romero described it as “very unique and trend-setting.”

The City Council unanimously approved the liquor license based on Romero’s recommendation.
