NEW PLYMOUTH — The Payette County Fair is in full swing for a second day, and as usual the annual Fair Parade kicks off on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

The parade will go through town on Main Street, followed by the start of the Payette County rodeo, with pre-rodeo events at 6:45 p.m. and the main event at 8 p.m.

Friday, the main event for the fair is the 4-H and FFA market animal sale, in the Limbaugh Arena, starting at 6:15 p.m. The rodeo will continue through Saturday, starting at 6:45 p.m.

Saturday will have a host of activities, including Ben’s Run at 8 a.m., Horse Games and the Duck Race at 10 a.m., fashion show at 11:30 a.m., pet parade at noon, stick horse race at 2 p.m., a watermelon eating contest at 3:30 p.m. and the wet T-shirt contest (filling bottles with water using t-shirts) at 5 p.m.

The fair dance will close the fair on Saturday, starting at 9 p.m.
