HARPER — Harper High School will hold an all-class reunion on June 15.
“Please mark the date on your calendar and plan to attend for your sake — and for the sake of all the class and school mates, te4achers, administrators, school board members and support staff who may have traveled many miles to meet and talk with you,” reads a news release about the reunion.
The last all-school reunion was five years ago.
During the reunion, the school and gymnasium will be open at noon for classroom visits, review of memorabilia and participation in get-togethers.
Tables in the gym will be arranged by decade to facilitate group meetings before, during and after dinner, with bottled water provided.
A general meeting begins at 2 p.m., and there will be welcoming remarks, recognitions and introductions by the Master of Ceremony Brian Coleman. There also will be a brief presentation by Superintendent Ron Talbot, who will talk on changes within the past 15 years.
At 5 p.m., attendees will break for a dinner which includes barbecue steak, baked potato, baked beans, salad, roll and desert, provided by the Harper Ladies Club.
Attendees are asked to gather briefly afterward to give feedback and recommendations for future evenings. The school will be open until 9 p.m. for visiting.
