Holiday revelry on Fruitland’s Main Street

Children participated in holiday activities at the Olde School Community Center in December of 2017. This year's celebration dubbed Christmas on Mainstreet will get underway at 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

FRUITLAND — Community members are urged to attend Christmas on Mainstreet on Thursday evening in Fruitland, hosted by Fruitland Chamber of Commerce and Fruitland Family Dental.

The event kicks off at 5:45 p.m., and includes a tree lighting, photo opportunities with Santa Claus, fire truck and hay rides, as well as free treats and activities offered up by local businesses on Main Street.

The tree lighting will be conducted by Santa and Mrs. Claus at 5:45 p.m. at Fruitland Park.

Following that, Santa will stop by Fruitland Dental for photo opportunities starting at 6 p.m.

From 6 to 8 p.m., attendees can enjoy fire truck and hay rides. Passport stamps will be given out by businesses, and full passports can be entered for drawings for prizes.

There will be free Dutch Bros drinks available.
