WEISER — Community members are urged to display their Nativity sets this Sunday in Weiser for a Community Christmas Crèche Exhibit.

Danielle Reese, of Weiser, was encouraged to to start a tradition similar to that which was started by a woman in Michigan, according to a news release. That woman had wanted to display a handcrafted Nativity she bought for her mother in Switzerland, and ended up organizing an annual exhibit of Nativity scenes, which continues to this day and has grown to feature upwards of a thousand displays from throughout the world, the release states.

There will be no cost to see the Weiser exhibit, which will be open for two days, from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

There will be community concerts and refreshments, as well.

For additional information and how to have your nativity part of the exhibit, see

It will be at at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 300 E. Main St.
