ONTARIO — Ontario Police Department received a report of a counterfeit $100 bill being passed at a local fast-food restaurant early this morning.
According to an email from Ontario Police Sgt. Dave Walters, an officer responded to the McDonald’s on East Idaho Avenue, where a woman allegedly passed a bill.
“The female is a local transient who told the Officer that an unknown male gave her the bill while she was ‘flying a sign’ near Walmart,” wrote Walters. “At this point we do not have any investigative leads.”
