Burger fans back up traffic for blocks to bid adieu, get one last bite from current owners

There's a traffic jam on Southwest Fourth Avenue in Ontario right now as fans of Burger West, one of the areas most popular burger joints, are backed up all the way to the first Red Apple driveway waiting in line for a Ranch Hand with Frys or other menu items, and a chance to say goodbye in person or in writing (there are signs hanging on the building which for handwritten messages) during the final days of the 53-year stint of the current owners. Chris Kressly, who owns the business with her family, says that they will hand over keys to the new owners next week. Stay tuned for that story.
Meanwhile, here's a story from May of 2020 about long lines forming at the eatery when it had just reopened after being closed for some time, due to mandates related to COVID-19.
