Demolition on TVCC campus

Crews perform the demolition of a house on the Treasure Valley Community College after it was determined that due to water damage that the house could not be remodeled.

ONTARIO — Crews demolished a house that was being used for storage on the Treasure Valley Community College campus on Jan. 11.

The college was looking at remodeling the property, however remediate water damage and other issues were found and it was determined that it was "not cost-efficient," to remodel the house. As such, the college "removed an uninhabitable building from our campus," Abby Lee, TVCC associate vice-president of college and public relations, wrote in an email on Jan. 12.
