Angel Wings hosts 10th annual walk/run is Saturday

Larry Thompson, described as a “valiant cancer warrior,” rings the cowbell to kickoff the Annual Walk/Run Around the Park, a fundraiser for Angel Wings Network, in 2019. This year's event is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Weiser City Park.

WEISER — A Weiser-based nonprofit that helps local people in rural communities who are battling cancer in a variety of ways is hosting its 10th annual Walk/Run Around the Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
