At that time, the Payette Enterprise and the Payette Independent were two separate papers that were split by the Republican and Democratic parties. They later partnered to form what is now the Independent-Enterprise. This paper had the largest printing press in Payette and served the community as a printer. Now its papers are printed at The Argus Observer in Ontario. We focus on keeping the community informed and involved. We work together with The Argus Observer, a daily newspaper that covers Malheur County in Oregon and Payette and Washington counties in Idaho.
Wick Communications owns both the Independent-Enterprise and The Argus-Observer.
