Ann Baker Balter, 84, of New Plymouth, Idaho died peacefully in her sleep on March 23, 2019 in Boise, Idaho. Born February 9, 1935 in Patrick, Arkansas, she is survived by her husband, Bill Balter and daughters Deby (Dennis) Smith of Snowville, Utah and Dorothy (Bart) Munson of Layton, Utah; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a second on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ann served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1956. Ann enjoyed working in the community, managing the New Plymouth Drug Store for many years and after it closed she worked in stores in Payette and Ontario before retiring. Ann was a loving wife and mother, and enjoyed spending time with the people around her. The family would like to thank friends and neighbors who were so kind to her and also the New Plymouth Emergency Response who have provided wonderful care and assistance to her over the years.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later time, which will be announced.
