A crash on Aug. 23 led to a passenger being flown to Boise for emergency medical attention.
According to a news release from the Payette County Sheriff’s Office, a 17-year old female from Payette was heading northbound on Highway 95 near Northeast 21st Avenue when her vehicle left the roadway on the right shoulder at about 7 p.m. The release states that the driver overcorrected and caused the vehicle to rollover. One of the passengers, whose age was not provided, was taken via air ambulance to a Boise hospital. Further injury information was not provided.
Payette County Sheriff’s Office, Payette Police Department and Idaho State Police all assisted at the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing by the Payette County Sheriff’s Office.
