NEW PLYMOUTH — As work moves ahead toward construction of the controversial Hampton’s Subdivision project on the northeast side of New Plymouth, a zone change requested by the project’s contractor, Bailey Engineering of Eagle, is also moving ahead. The New Plymouth City Council confirmed this with Ordinance No. 421, during its regular meeting on April 17.

The ordinance confirms that the construction site will go from being zoned for Residential ‘A’ use (single family) to Residential ‘B’ use (multi-family.) The site is off of Holly Avenue, behind Colton Street.
