On Nov. 25, the Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden announced that a joint operation that targeted child sexual abuse in the Treasure Valley over the weekend led to the arrest of nine Idaho men, including a local man.

Among the nine suspects is Shawn Reber, 27, of Fruitland. He is facing a felony charge of enticing a child through the internet, video image or other communication device.

According to the charging document, the person Reber was trying to solicit by words, actions or both, was someone he believed was age 13.

The next court date for Reber is currently scheduled for Dec. 9.

“This operation took nine dangerous child predators off the streets,” said Eben Roberts, acting special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations Seattle in a news release from the Attorney General.

Also arrested over the weekend were Jesse A. Kelly-Castillo, 23, of Boise; Trevor M. Byram, 25, of Boise; Maxwell G. Hennerley, 23, of Boise; Joshua R. Schmitz, 33, of Garden City; Seth M. Holden, 29, of Garden City; Vern L. Moore, 55, of Kuna; Patrick P. Telleria, 35, of Boise; and Jordan M. Drake, 32, of Boise.
