FRUITLAND — Heart ‘n Home Hospice and Palliative Care has received national recognition for the third straight year.

Heart ‘n Home was chosen as one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare in 2011, 2013, 2014, and again in 2015. This program is sponsored by Modern Healthcare and distinguishes outstanding employers in the health-care industry.

“Heart ‘n Home is a best place to work because our employees help each other,” Kristopher Stice, owner and senior vice president of human resources, said in a news release.

“I want to thank them for living our family core values both at work and home. It is great to work with such outstanding individuals! There is no greater work than hospice and our employees demonstrate it every day, every time.”

Modern Healthcare surveys employees each year. The top scoring 100 companies will be recognized at an awards gala Oct. 14 in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Receiving this award is huge for our company and community,” Stice said. “It solidifies that we have a strong culture with happy employees, who strive to provide legendary service for our patients, their families, and their communities.”
