Payette

Kathleen Gale “Kathy” Rose, 50, of Payette, went home to her Lord on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 after a brief illness. Kathy had her family at her side when she passed in Boise. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28th at Treasure Valley Baptist Church, 386 North Verde Drive, Ontario. Condolences may be made to Kathy’s family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.

Kathy was born Dec. 27, 1962 in Ontario, OR; 15 hours after her birth she was adopted by the best parents in the world, Gale and Janie Nugent. She graduated from Payette High School in 1981. In 1983 Kathy married Daniel Rose. They had five children, Dustin, Abby, Andrew, Gus, and Hannah.

Kathy loved her family and they loved her. She devoted her life to them. Kathy also loved the outdoors and her animals.

In addition to her parents, husband and children, Kathy is survived by her sister Linda Ambalong (Joe) of Walnut Creek, CA, brother Tom Nugent (Josee) of Boise, nephew Ryan and niece Brook and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and stepchildren Todi and Danny.

We will miss Kathy’s sweet and caring good nature. The hearts of her family are broken but we take comfort that she is in the arms of Jesus.

Donations can be accepted to The Kathy Nugent Rose Memorial at any Wells Fargo branch.
