Gordon Lee Rowan was born December 2, 1954 in Council, Idaho to Durwood “Jim” and MaRee Rowan. He was taken from us too soon.

He grew up in Ontario, Oregon and graduated from Ontario High School in 1973. After high school he joined the Army, where he met “the love of his life” Myong.

After exiting the military he went to college and graduated in 1981 from Oklahoma State with a chemical engineering degree. This took him all over the world with a home base in Arizona.

Gordon enjoyed his family, travel, and meeting new friends. He was a prankster and a joker. He loved to laugh.

Gordon leaves behind his son Dan with his wife Stephanie and granddaughter Leah and his son Richard, both from California. He also leaves behind two brothers John with his wife Judy and family of Redmond, Oregon and Jerry and family of Sumpter.

He will forever be in our hearts!

A memorial service will be held Saturday Feb. 2nd, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Baker City, Oregon.
