Oct. 15, 1930 - Sept. 21, 2012


Glen Raymond Lattimore, 81, Ontario passed away Sept. 21, 2012, at a local care facility. Glen was born to Lewis and Anntonette Englehart-Lattimore Oct. 15, 1930, in Winner, S.D. He moved with his parents to Oregon in 1935. He attended school at Annex and graduated from Ontario High School.

He was in the Army and was medically discharged when he contracted rheumatic fever. He worked as a lineman for the railroad and helped on the family farm. He married June Williamson, April 15, 1955, to this union four daughters were born (which he called his herd of heifers) Kathy, Linda, Julie, Carlene. He custom corn cropped for 29 years and was a hard worker and will be missed by anyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, June; four daughters, Kathy, Linda, Julie, Carlene; one brother, Malven Lattimore, Weiser; two sisters, Nettie Sager of Ritzville, Wash., and Hazel Powell, Oregon. Eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and five great-grandsons.  

He was preceded in death by four sisters; two brothers; one grandson; and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept.26, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Thomason Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Condolences can be made to the family at www.lienkaemper-thomason.com.
