JORDAN VALLEY — Following an investigation by Oregon State Police a semi-truck driver carrying electronic equipment was cited after a one-vehicle crash closed U.S. Highway 95 south of Burns Junction for eight hours Tuesday.
At approximately 6 a.m. Tuesday, Travis Gurney, 36, of Caldwell, rolled the truck he was driving onto its side when the front right tire traveled onto the gravel shoulder. Gurney overcorrected the vehicle leading to the truck and trailer to overturn. The crash completely blocked both lanes of U.S. 95 for eight hours.
