A Payette man died early Monday from stab wounds received at a residence north of Ontario,  and Ontario woman has been charged and is being sought in the incident.

The victim has been identified as Mark Samuel Rogers, 26,  and the Malheur County Circuit Court has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Ketra Savannah Siuce-Hale, who has been charged by the Malheur County District Attorney’s office with one count of manslaughter in the first degree. She is still at large and authorities caution she is considered armed and dangerous.

The District Attorney’s office said the suspect was last seen driving a blue 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with Idaho license plate, “RIDSOLO.”

According to a statement from Malheur County Sheriff Brian Wolfe, 9-1-1 calls were received at the Payette County Sheriff’s Office and Ontario Police Dispatch, at 12:38 a.m. in reference to the stabbing which occurred at 5017 Hyline Road, just north of Holly Road.

The victims was transported to Ontario by a private vehicle and then transferred to a Treasure Valley Paramedics Ambulance. He was then transported to St. Alphonsus-Ontario Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is continuing with more interviews and possible search warrants being conducted, Wolfe said and will hold a press conference at 1 p.m. Tuesday at his office in Vale.

Assisting in the investigation are the Oregon State Police, Ontario Police, Payette Police, Payette County Sheriff’s Office and the Malheur County District Attorney.

Eldon Ford, a neighbor, said he has seen a lot of activity at the residence, a mobile home, with “cars going in and out all the time.”

“There has been a lot of drinking . . . a party almost every weekend.” he said. The current residents have been there since November, he said.
