Christmas cheer for care facility residents

Members of Soroptimist International of Snake River Valley will help Santa make sure residents of local nursing facilities know they have not been forgotten this Christmas. This list has been compiled from an area that encompasses Vale, Ontario, Fruitland, Payette, Weiser and New Plymouth. Anyone wishing to help this year can contact Lynda, (208) 549-4003, or Barbara, (208) 452-5700. Unwrapped gifts may be dropped off at 547 W. First St., Weiser; Intermountain Community Bank, 98 S. Oregon, Ontario; Treasure Valley Tax Services, 2400 N. Alder, Fruitland; and Sterling Savings Bank, 150 Longfellow St. N, Vale. Pickup can also be arranged. Additional items such as stationary, puzzles, stamps, gum, sugar free and regular candy, colognes, brushes, combs, hair accessories, etc., are also welcome.
The following items are needed:
1. Female: Elastic waist pants (size 14), blouse or sweatshirt (L or size 12-14)
2. Male: Sweat pants (L), sweat shirts (L)
3. Female: Sweat pants (M), sweat shirts (M)
4. Male: Books on war and history (the larger books with pictures/facts, etc.)
5. Female: Sugar free candy, word search puzzle books
6. Female: Bible DVDs, musical DVDs
7. Male: Sweat suit (L) any color
8. Male: Printed T-shirts (L)
9. Female: Pretty sweat suit (L) any color
10. Female: Pretty print pull over blouse (L), elastic waist pants (XL)
11. Male: Polo shirt (XXL), sweat pants (XL)
12. Female: Pull over long sleeve top (L), elastic waist pants (L)
13. Female: Fun hat, clip barrettes, hair ties, bag
14. Male: Electric shaver, aftershave, cologne
15. Female: Cardigan sweater with pockets (M), word search puzzles
16. Male: Sweat pants (2X), pocket golf shirts (2X)
17. Male: Electric shaver, aftershave, cologne
18. Female: Elastic waist pants (L) necklaces
19. Female: Baby doll, hair clips
20. Male: Large faced watch, aftershave, cologne
21. Male: Jeans (40Wx30L), western shirt with snaps (17 or 171/2 neck, 35-inch sleeves)
22. Female: Large faced watch, body lotions and sprays
23. Male: Sweat pants, black or blue (M), Slippers (size 8)
24. Female: Sweat suit, blue (L), slippers (Isotoner with soft sole, size 7)
