Civic League helps community
Payette women’s organization sponsors dinners for local families on Thanksgiving and Christmas

PAYETTE — The Payette Civic League is responsible for many functions in the community of Payette.

It is involved in sponsoring dinners for both Thanksgiving and Christmas for families in Payette, donating mittens, hats, sweats, etc., to Payette schools in time of need for the children, helping light the cross that stands atop the hill in Payette and sponsoring many different organizations in need throughout in the community, just to name a few.

It is a very well-rounded group of women with a goal of helping the people of the community in any way possible.

The Payette Civic League holds meetings at noon every other Wednesday at different eating establishments to help support the local economy. The organization is always looking for new members.
