Our beloved Randy Dwayne Farley, 61, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009. After a long five-year battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. Randy was born in Sedro Woolley, Wash., July 24, 1948. Randy lived a majority of his life in Fruitland, Idaho. He graduated from Fruitland High School, then attended U of I, where he earned a B.S. in Agricultural Science. Randy was married 36 years to his soul mate Linda. They have two loving daughters, Wendy and Tabby. He faithfully worked at Woodgrain Millwork, Inc., for 36 years. Randy was an outdoor enthusiast and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding his ATV. He was a member of the Treasure Valley Radio Association where he was secretary and treasurer. An avid hobbyist, he enjoyed radio control cars and airplanes, H.O. electric trains, fish aquariums and photography. His faithful companion was Henry the ferret. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and when he laughed his smile lit up the whole room. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters,Wendy and Tabby; two grandchildren; his mother, Sue; brother, Bruce; and sister Barb; extended family members: son in laws, Randy and Conley; sister in law, Helen; brother in law, David; and sister in law, Carol. We would like to thank Heart ’n Home Hospice & Palliative Care, LLC, for their dedication and loving care during Randy’s time of need. A memorial service for Randy will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at the Ontario First Church of the Nazarene.
