Vale and Nyssa pick up huge wins in EOL

The Vale Vikings were up to the task Friday night against the defending 3A state champion and No. 5 ranked Grant Union Prospectors beting them handedly 33-12.
In other EOL action, the Nyssa Bulldogs were on the road at No. 4 Umatilla and the Bulldogs also picked up a huge win, 33-27.
WIth these two wins, both Nyssa and Vale have bumped up their standing in the EOL ranks all the way to the top.
In the Idaho 3A ranks, the Fruitland Grizzlies made a loud clear statement Friday night in the Snake River Valley Conference with a 61-6 blowout over Homedale. No score for the Weiser/McCall came has been reported.
At the 2A level, the Parma Panthers let the Nampa Christian Trojans why they are the defending 3A champs with 40-6 thrashing.
Council snuck by Idaho CIty 24-22, and no score has been reported for the Adrian/Praitie CIty contest.
