Fruitland loses in OT to Baker

Fruitland-The fans got their monies worth and then some during the Fruitland Grizzlies homecoming overtime special against Baker Friday.
In a game that teetered back-and-forth for four quartrers, neither team was able to claim victory in regulation, overtime was called for.
Fruitland won the toss and had the first crack at scoring, but the Baker defense was up to the task and kept the Grizzlies at bay on three straight attempts.
No problem, send in the fieldgoal unit.
Problem, the kick hooked left. Game still tied.
The Bulldogs wasted no time on Fruitlands missed opportunity and punched the ball into the end zone on their first attempt.
Penalty marker down - holding
No problem. Baker tried the air attack and found success on a 20-yard fade to the right corner of the endzone. Touchdown, game over, Baker wins 34-27.
