Glenda Jean Porter
July 4, 1971 - Sept. 9, 2009

Our loving Glenda Jean Porter passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at the age of 38. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, in Cambridge, Idaho. Glenda was born on July 4, 1971, in Arlington, Wash., to Leonard and Gertti (Fowler) Porter.

The family lived in various areas throughout Oregon, Washington and California before settling in Cambridge, Idaho, in 1983. Glenda graduated from Cambridge High School where she was active in volleyball, basketball and track. She was a very talented athlete and received many honors, including a college volleyball scholarship to attend Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. Glenda loved spending time outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, gardening and playing sports. She also loved photography, singing, cooking, sewing and her family.

Surviving is her mother and stepfather, Gertti and Darwin Jenkins, of New Plymouth, Idaho; her father, Leonard Porter, of Gresham, Ore.; her children, Gavin and Kenzie Eisenbarth, of Weiser, Idaho, and their father, Matt Eisenbarth, and Brenin and Kamdin Carter, of Gresham, Ore., and their father, Bryan Carter; her brother, Brian Fowler, of Windsor, Colo.; and her sister, Dee Pottenger, of Harrison, Idaho. She is preceded in death by her sister, Colleen Porter.

A memorial fund for her children has been set up at U.S. Bank under Glenda Jean Porter.
