Gail McDonough
July 31, 1960 - July 4, 2009

Weiser

Gail was born July 31, 1960, and passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. Gail was born to Russell and Jutta Brewen in Sacramento, Calif. The family moved to Sand Hollow, Idaho, in 1965. She attended grade school and junior high in Notus, Idaho, and graduated from New Plymouth High School in 1978. She then lived in Sacramento until 1996 when she moved to and settled in Weiser the following year. In 2003, she went to work for Ridley’s. Gail loved her job, and her co-workers were family. Her customers were her friends.

On Dec. 3, 2004, Gail married Russ McDonough in Payette, Idaho. Russ and Gail spent every minute together walking, hunting, fishing, camping and just completely loving each other. Their love and devotion was a very rare treasure.

Gail was a kind and caring mother of her two sons, David and Ricky.

Gail was a member of the Weiser Community Church. Her faith and trust in God was immeasurable. Gail was a blessing to all who knew her and will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.

Gail is survived by her husband, Russ McDonough, Weiser; sons, David Brewer, Weiser, and Ricky Brewer, California; three sisters, Nancy (Richard) Harbolt, Sacramento, Calif., Kathy (Johnny) Madariaga, Jordan Valley, Ore., Elaine (Ken) Minchin, Payette, Idaho, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Brewer.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009, at the Weiser Community Church. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established in Gail’s memory at the Weiser Community Church, 240 E. Main St., Weiser ID 83672.
