Sections of Ontario street closed for sewer repairs
ONTARIO — A large segment of Southeast Second Street in Ontario is closed for sewer improvements. The project began Monday, and the street will remain closed for approximately two and a half weeks. The work consists of approximately 710 lineal feet of sanitary sewer construction including pipe, manholes, services and surface restoration, according to a city press release.
The street closure will affect traffic in the area, particularly school buses, onion trucks and vehicles travelling on the south beltline regularly. For more information, contact Public Works Director Chuck Mickelson or Deputy Public Works Director Bob Walker at (541) 881-3231.
