Area Death Notices



Floyd D. Calhoun, 92, Meridian, died at home Oct. 18. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cloverdale Cemetery.

Elmer Carlock, 89, of Eagle, died Oct. 19 at home. Services pending by Potter Funeral Chapel, Emmett.

Larzarka Dimitric, 74, Boise, died Oct. 17 at an area care center. A Trisagion service will be held at 6 p.m. today at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday  at St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at Meridian Cemetery.

Gerald John ‘Jerry’ Horrace, 71, Nampa, died Oct. 17 at a Nampa care center. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel in Nampa. Burial will be in Kohlerlawn Cemetery following cremation.

E. Lester Hopkins, Jr., 77, Boise, died Oct. 19 in a Boise hospital. Services pending by Relyea Funeral Chapel.

Timothy J. Karst, 58, of Boise, died Oct. 15 at home. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bowman Funeral Parlor in Garden City. Burial with military honors will follow at 3 p.m. at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. Services by Bowman Funeral Parlor, Garden City.

Betty Jean Luman, 85, Boise, died Oct. 18 at home. Cremation arrangements by Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.

Scott A. Noe, 38, son of Myron and Wilma Noe, died Oct. 19 in a Caldwell care center. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Melba Cemetery. Pastor Russ Steiner of Melba Baptist Church will officiate. Arrangements by Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa.

Paul E. Potwin, 79, of Star, died Oct. 17 at an area care center. An inurnment will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by Summers Funeral Home, Ustick Chapel.

Milton R. ‘Pete’ Sharp, 81, of Boise, died Sunday at an area hospital. Services pending by Bowman Funeral Parlor, Garden City.
