Dora Mae Fogg

Jan. 10, 1923 - Oct. 15, 2008

Dora Mae Fogg, 85, Boise, formerly of Payette, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at a Meridian care facility after a four-month illness. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Private inurnment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser. Dora was born Jan. 10, 1923, to Crofford and Lizzie (Dempsey) Hoxie, near Pollock, Idaho on the Little Salmon River. She grew up and attended schools at Lewiston, New Meadows, and Riggins, Idaho. She married Harold W. Rhodes at Payette in 1941. A daughter, Willa, and a son, Harold, was born to this union. In 1949, Harold was killed in a sawmill accident. She and her children then resided in Council, Idaho. Dora married Ted Fogg in 1952. They lived most of their married life in Payette. Ted passed away in 1995.

She loved gardening, camping, and the nature of outdoors. She held dear the love of family and friends. She is a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Dora is survived by a daughter, Willa Mahan of Boise; a son, Harold W. (Sherill) Rhodes of Payette; grandson, H. William Rhodes of Big Rock, Tenn.; granddaughters, Rashell (Robert) LeBow of Blackfoot, Idaho and Penny (Colmain) Parrish of Boise; greatgrandsons, Hadrain Rhodes of Avondale, Ariz., Wayne Rhodes of Big Rock, Tenn., Chandler & Mikhail LeBow of Blackfoot, Idaho., Joby, Ryan, and Jeremy Parrish of Boise; great-granddaughters, Sofie LeBow, of Blackfoot, Idaho and Ema Rhodes of Big Rock, Tenn.; step-daughter, Pam (Tim) Thornley; four step-granddaughters; 13 step-greatgrandchildren all of Lewiston, Idaho; and many special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; two sisters; and two brothers.

Memorials may be made to the Seventh-day Adventist Church or the Treasure Valley Adventist Worthy Student Fund, c/o Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, P.O. Box 730, Payette, ID 83661
