Armory work

A construction crew working on the National Guard Armory have Southwest Fourth Street blocked off as they install a service line to the site Monday afternoon. Traffic was still being detoured as of this morning. The Guard is inviting neighbors in the area to an open house at the site from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday which will include representatives of Petra, Inc., the general contractor, and Maxey Tookey, architects. Members of the public interested in attending should contact Master Sgt. Troy Warner, project inspector at (541) 889-0850, or e-mail Troy.K.Warner@us.army.mil.
