Chukar men shut out Southwest Oregon
Treasure Valley women pick up win

ONTARIO — Five Treasure Valley Community College mens’ soccer players scored goals, while Alan Bosio assisted three of them, on way to the Chukars 5-0 win over Southwest Oregon Community College, Friday in Northwest Athletic Association of Community College action in Ontario.
Joe Kopp scored the first goal of the game, in the second minute, unassisted. 12 minutes later, Luis Gutierrez scored a goal, in which Bosio had the first of his assists, for a 2-0 Chukar lead. In the 39th Minute, David Strangefeld scored on a Bosio assist, for a 3-0 lead at the break.
“The boys got off to a good start and never looked back,” Treasure Valley head coach Ryan Masingill said. “It is nice to have Alan (Bosio) and my other starters back.”
In the second half, Ulisses Sanches, assisted by Bosio and Solin Garcia on an assist from Gutierrez scored in the 56th and 65th minutes respectively

ONTARIO — Treasure Valley Community College’s Chelsey Thayn scored a pair of first half goals to lead the Treasure Valley women’s soccer team to a 4-2 win over Southwest Oregon Community College, Friday in Northwest Athletic Association of Community College action in Ontario.
Thayn scored in the 13th and 25th minute of the game, on assists from Sarah Weitz and Angelina Garcia respectively.
“The girls played great and got off to another great start,” Treasure Valley head coach Ryan Masingill said. “Overall, I am pleased with the last two weeks of practice, preparing us for the first half of our weekend.”
Dustie Chester scored the games first goal for the Chukars, in the sixth minute, while Kati Lewis scored an unassisted goal in the 72nd minute of the contest.
