Parma—The Western Idaho Conference battles continued as New Plymouth and Parma squared off Thursday in Parma. The Panther netters, however, defended their home court with a three game sweep for the match win, 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Parma’s Kali Roach stepped up with 13 kills, and Breanna Stell handed out 19 assists.

Other leaders for the Panthers include Alli Nielsen, who pounded out seven kills, picked up five digs, hit a service ace and had a block, and Becca Cox, pitched in with four kills, one ace and a block in the win.

“We preformed really well. We came from behind several times,” Parma head coach Jeana Critchfield said. “We took care of the ball and we can be very intense when we need to be.”

The Pilgrims were led by Adia Campbell with two blocks and five assists, Sienna Edmunson with seven digs and Lauren Arnzen with five digs and a pair of aces.

Parma will travel to Cole Valley Saturday to compete in the Cole Valley Tournament, while the Pilgrims will host Nampa Christian Thursday.
