Ore. parents charged in online sex ring
PORTLAND (AP) — An investigator calls it one of the most disturbing cases he’s seen.
A Portland father of three is facing state and federal charges in connection with an international pedophile ring. Mark Hoffman is accused of sexually abusing his children, photographing them in lascivious positions and sharing those photos over the Internet.
His wife faces state charges including mistreatment and tampering with evidence for trying to conceal the photos.
Two of the children, now ages 4 and 5, are in state foster care.

ID court summons jury in Boy Scout abuse trial
MOSCOW (AP) — A district court has summoned 150 possible jurors — three times the normal amount — in the trial of a Washington state man accused of molesting four boys at a north Idaho Boy Scout camp.
An Idaho grand jury has indicted 38-year-old Timothy Andrew Kellis on nine counts of lewd conduct, one count of attempted lewd conduct, and two counts of sexual abuse of a child.
Idaho Supreme Court set to censure Boise lawyer
TWIN FALLS (AP) — The state’s highest court has publicly censured a 33-year-old Boise lawyer and former Idaho Supreme Court clerk who was charged during an Internet sting operation in 2005.
A censure from the Idaho Supreme Court amounts to a public rebuke, and the reprimand is somewhat rare in Idaho. Robby J. Perucca was charged during an online sting operation in Jerome County three years ago. Court records show Jerome County Sheriff Jim Weaver posed as a young girl online and talked with Perucca about having sex together.

Alaska’s sister carrier, Horizon Air, is one of eight airlines with service to and from Boise.
