Local radio station to run BSU football games

Ontario—Treasure Valley residents have a new avenue to Boise State football this fall, and it comes in the from of the air-waves. Local radio station, KSRV-1380 AM will broadcast the Boise State football games live with first-year play-by-play announcer Bob Behler. Joining Behler in the booth will be former BSU lineman Jadon Dailey.
Behler comes to the valley via the University of Massachusetts were he did the play-by-play for football and basketball teams.
Local businesses teamed up with KSRV to make the broadcast a reality.
Those businesses include Red Apple Marketplace, Red’s wireless, Holy Rosary Medical Center, Apache Motor Sports, Malheur Bell, Steve’s Hometown Toyota, FMTC, Ore-Ida/Heinz, Dillenbaugs, Gentry Motors, Edge Performance sports, Fiesta Guadalajara and Carl’s Jr.
KSRV station manager Dave Tester said a lot of hard work went into getting the Broncos on the air in the Western Treasure Valley.
In addition to the college games, KSRV will also air Fruitland and Ontario High School football games.
The high school games that will be aired will begin one hour before kick off, and run one hour following the game with a call in show live from the football field.
Another feature the AM station will include, will be a Monday and Friday sports talk show, hosted by Tester, which will be held at Fiesta Guadalajara from 12:15 p.m. until 1 p.m., then at 9 a.m. on Saturday’s KSRV and the Argus Observer will bring the football fans the Carl’s Jr. Coaches Corner live from local establishment Carl’s Jr.
Hosting the coaches corner will be Argus Observer sports editor Scott Ford and sports reporter Ray Rodriguez, as they bring the fans an in depth post game show with the local area coaches and players.
