Malheur County Fair results



Following are the 4-H results of the 2008 Malheur County Fair held July 29 through Aug. 2 at the fairgrounds in Ontario.

Novice — Blue ribbons were awarded to Luke Campbell, Regan Hartley, Thayne Schulthies, Jacob Hibbs, Andrew Clark, Michael Griffin, Joshua Buchholz, Spencer Johnson and Spencer Widner. Champion novice swine showman was Reagan Hartley and reserve champion was Spencer Johnson.

Junior — Blue ribbons were awarded to Jessica Fife, Chas Sumey, Nathan Andersen, Teagan Wick, Danielle Alvarado and Angel McIntyre. Red ribbons were awarded to Shelbie Cleaver, Chase Walker, Tanner Wick, Mikayla Lawrence, Kaitlynn Guerricagoitia, Janna Bunker, Alyssa Cooper and Morgan Springer. Champion junior swine showman was Jessica Fife and reserve champion was Chas Sumey;

Intermediate — Blue ribbons were awarded to Alex Johnson, Blake Purnell, Logan Fisher, Olivia Walker, Dallin Widmer, Hailee Turner, Allie Hartley, Shyanne Cleaver and Tylee McCauley. Red ribbons were awarded to Hugh Ellsworth, Ryan Tucke, Kelsie Cleaver, Denum Springer, Hannah Lovelady, Illise Ellsworth, Nicole Hibbs, Holly Hartman, Danielle Hibbs, Trenton Hysell, Cody Wilcox, Kory Hartman and Scott Lovelady.

Champion intermediate swine showman was Logan Fisher and reserve champion was Dallin Widmer.

Senior — Blue ribbons were awarded to Daniel Lode, Chance Blackburn and Matt Fife. Red ribbons were awarded to Derek Seiders, Jake Wilcox and Mandie Widmer. Champion senior swine showman was Daniel Lode and reserve champion was Chance Blackburn.

Grand champion 4-H swine showman was Dallin Widmer and reserve grand champion 4-H swine showman was Daniel Lode.

Market hogs, feeders — Blue ribbons were awarded to Mikayla Lawrence, Angel McIntyre, Danielle Hibbs, Jacob Hibbs, Teagan Wick and Nicole Hibbs.

220 to 223 lbs. — Blue: Tanner Wick, Allie Hartley and Tylee McCauley. Red: Alyssa Cooper, Denum Springer and Morgan Springer.

228 to 233 lbs. — Blue: Chance Blackburn, Andrew Clark, Derek Seiders and Janna Bunker. Red: Hannah Lovelady and Hailee Turner.

237 to 245 lbs. — Blue: Dallin Widmer and Jake Wilcox. Red: Illise Ellsworth, Chas Sumey, Cody Wilcox and Shyanne Cleaver.
