HUNTINGTON—Huntington was greatly honored to have the bass qualifier this weekend with 24 participants from all over Idaho. They pre-fished on Aug. 1. The tournament started Aug. 2 and ran until Aug. 3. Bill Shouse was in charge.

Bob Yelland was in charge of the first two qualifiers in Northern Idaho. The participants are trying to make the Idaho state team. Current Idaho state champion Brandon Palenuick was here for the tournament. There is a divisional competition where the top five go to regional competition, then the top person out of each of the five regions goes to the National Bass Masters Classic.

Thanks to Bob Yelland, Bill Shouse and Mark Diaz for the information. The outcome of the tournament will be reported later.
